  • Explore Engineering Camp for HS Students

UConn School of Engineering Offers two GREAT Summer Programs (camps) for Middle and High School students.

Explore Engineering (E2):  This five-day co-ed summer program introduces students to all the different engineering majors at UConn. Students will also participate in our Young Engineering Science Scholars (YESS) Program where they get to focus on one particular engineering major that they are most interested in. It’s a great opportunity for students interested in STEM - and engineering in particular - to explore their options before they start applying to college.  For current 10th and 11th grade students. SPARK: SPARK inspires young females to pursue careers in STEM, while having a GREAT time! It's an all-female residential summer program for students in grades 6 through 9, run by female undergraduate engineering students. SPARK has four week-long engineering themed sessions: Coding, Underwater Robotics, Designing and Flying Drones, and Engineering Through the Ages. Participate in one, two, three, or all four weeks.
