  • 8/7 Support Students in Recovery and Earn 30 CEUs

    Attend the CT Community for Addiction Recovery's  (CCAR) Recovery Coach Academy on UConn's Storrs campus on August 7-9th and earn 30 CEUs while learning how to effectively support students in recovery from substance use disorders. Coaches who can speak the language of a younger generation can greatly impact the success of a young adult's recovery. If you are a young adult, or someone who wants to support young adults with their recovery, then this program is for you!

    • Open to everyone - people in recovery, family members, friends, and allies.
    • Includes 2 days of online learning followed by 3 days in class.
    • 30 CEUs awarded upon completion.
    • Optional facilitator training program offered.
    • Registration fees include room and board, and all training materials.
