  • Campus-wide ePortfolio license

We are pleased to announce that UConn has licensed Portfolium, an ePortfolio platform, for all students, faculty, and staff. EPortfolio is considered a “high impact practice” in higher education because it promotes reflection and integration across a student’s experiences inside and outside the classroom. Our contract with Portfolium includes ePortfolio, the Assessment package, Badging & Pathways, and TalentMatch, along with integration into HuskyCT. To learn more about these components, visit https://portfolium.com.

The official launch of the system will take place prior to the fall 2019 semester. More details about the Portfolium rollout will be announced over the summer. Faculty or staff who are interested in obtaining a Portfolium account in advance of the launch should reach out to CETL’s Educational Technology (edtech@uconn.edu). Educational Technology will be offering programming this summer pertaining to the use of an ePortfolio in the classroom. Check http://fins.uconn.edu often for current information on upcoming programming.

We would like to thank those who made this license possible, including Peter Diplock (CETL) and Joseph Lastrina (Purchasing) for negotiating the final contract and the staff and students of the Honors Program for piloting the program this year.
