This semester, our Senior LA students have undertaken their capstone project led by Sungmin Lee, an Assistant Profession in the Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture to design one of the sites in Hartford given the subject, “Reimagine and Redesign Hartford Landscape”. Students have selected various topics, including sustainable neighborhood planning, redesign of I-84 viaduct, social equity, green infrastructure, resilience, water management, brownfield/landfilled, safety, and walkability and applied theoretical knowledge and design skills.
