  • 4/13 Free Swim Lesson- Provided by UConn Swimming

    UConn Swimming and Diving are offering a one time free 30 minute swim lesson to the University Community. 

    The swim lessons event will take place on Saturday 4/13 from 9AM-12PM. Each swim lesson will last 30 minutes and will be lead by members of the UConn Varsity Swimming and Diving Team.

    Who- Any member of the UConn community (Faculity, Staff, Students, Family and Children)- All ability levels are welcome!

    Where- The Wolff-Zackin Natatorium (inbetween the rec center and Gampel Pavillion)

    Why- UConn Swimming and Diving want to give back to its communicty and assist in drowning awareness and prevention.

    How- Register by emailing Christa Saunders at Christa.saunders@uconn.edu. In your e-mail please include the name and age of those taking lesssons, and what 30 minute time block you would like for your lesson. Also make a quick note about the swimmers ability level ( non-swimmer, can tred water, etc)- We will be following the ARC model for swim instruction.

    *Due to NCAA restrictions, we cannot accept reservations for children in grades 9-12 or Jr. College Students.*
