  • Women's Advance Conference - Registration Open

    Registration is now open for the 2019 Women's Advance Conferenceon May 15 at the Storrs campus.

    The UConn Women’s Advance Conference is a professional development opportunity for women staff and faculty at all levels of the University that is designed to expand skills, increase knowledge, and enhance networks to promote a more inclusive and supportive working and learning environment at the University.

    This year's keynote speaker will be Dr. Carol Gilligan.  Psychologist, professor, and author of the groundbreaking book, In a Different Voice, Carol Gilligan “changed the voice of psychology,” making it more responsive to the full range of human experience. Named one of the 25 most influential Americans by Time, Gilligan made women’s voices heard in their own right and with their own integrity for the first time in the social sciences.

    Registration fee for the first 50 graduate students and post docs will be covered by the Graduate school.
