Physics Colloquium: Michael S. Lubell/ Navigating the Maze, How Sciencve and Technology Policy Shape America and the World.
Professor Lubell a resident of Connecticut, served for 22 years as the Director of the Office of Public Affairs of the American Physical Society (APS) and today he Chairs the Aspen Institute Program on Science and Society that will manage the production of science shows to be aired on Public Television (PBS). He will discuss his work as the lobbyist for science of the APS and the mission of the Aspen Institute Program on Science and Society. Navigating the Maze is his first full-length book that will be published in mid February, 2019.
