Please join members of the Board of Trustees and the Office of the Provost at a reception to honor the 2018 Board of Trustees Distinguished Professors on Tuesday, December 4, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. (formal program will begin at 4:30 p.m.) at the UConn Alumni Center, Storrs Campus.
The Distinguished Professor award is the University’s highest academic honor and reserved exclusively to recognize faculty who have achieved exceptional distinction in three areas – scholarship, teaching and service – while at the University of Connecticut. Professors who have received this distinction in the year 2018 are: Regina Barreca, English, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Miguel Gomes, Literatures, Cultures, and Languages, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Peter B. Luh, Electrical and Computer Engineering, School of Engineering.
