The next meeting of the University Senate will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 4:00-6:00pm in Rome Ballroom, South Campus.
Documentation for the meeting can be found on the Senate website. One of the items on the agenda will be a motion to approve the implementation plan for addition of Environmental Literacy to the General Education curriculum. The Environmental Literacy definition was approved at the October meeting. Given the tight timeline to meet the launch goal of fall 2019, the intention is to bring the implementation motion to a vote at the November meeting. Senators are therefore urged to read the motion carefully prior to the meeting and come prepared to raise any questions or concerns they may have about it.
