  • 11/7 Current Issues in the Conduct of Survey Research

    On Wednesday, November 7, at 11:45 am (Oak Hall 236), Dr. Tom W. Smith (NORC at the University of Chicago) will present "Current Issues in the Conduct of Survey Research." The program is co-sponsored by the Center for Judaic Studies and Contemporary Jewish Life and the Departments of Political Science and Sociology. Lunch will be provided. Seating is limited.     Senior Fellow Tom W. Smith directs NORC at the University of Chicago's Center for the Study of Politics and Society. Since 1980, he has served as Director of the General Social Survey (GSS), one of NORC's most visible projects and one of the nation's most heavily utilized datasets. He is also co-founder of the International Social Survey Program (ISSP), former Secretary General of the ISSP, and currently serving on the ISSP Standing and Methodology Committees.
