  • Looking for Participants: Perfectionism Study

Hello! My name is Monique Golden and I am a doctoral student at UConn. I am conducting my dissertation research on perfectionism. I am looking for participants to complete an anonymous survey. Your personal information will not be collected and all responses will be anonymously collected.

What is the purpose of this study?

The purpose of this research study is to examine whether the perfectionism measure is culturally relevant for the modern female college student.

We are conducting this study because based on what we know about where and how the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale was developed and validated, we speculate that it may not be an appropriate measure for women who attend public, gender inclusive institutions.

Is there a cost to participate?

There are no costs to participate in this study and you will not be paid to be in this study.

Participants can self-select into a random raffle drawing to receive one (1) gift card, worth either $25, $50, $100, or $200. The information collected in the raffle drawing entry form is separate from the survey and will not be linked to your individual responses.

    Who is eligible to participate?

Eligible participants shall be UConn students who identify as either Black/African-American (non-Hispanic) or White (non-Hispanic) female students between the ages of 18-24. All participants must be domestic students, have at least a 2.0 GPA, and be enrolled in a degree-seeking program (non-certificate), either full-time or part-time.
