    That October issue of That Wasn't on the Syllabus, a monthly newsletter on college instuction, is now available here. The newsletter accompanies the blog of the same name that was founded in connection with the Graduate Certificate in College Instruction. This month's issue features a post on supporting survivors of sexual assault in the classroom, a primer on three concepts in the science of learning, and advice on receiving feedback.
