Shared Decision Making Tool Trial
Shared decision making is the process of clinicians and patients making decisions together using the best available evidence. Option Grid is a tool that supports and facilitates shared decision making. It helps clinicians identify available screening and treatment options; review their benefits and drawbacks with their patient; and determine with their patient which course of action best honors the patient’s preferences.
The UConn Health Library has a free trial of Option Grid until the end of November. Interested clinicians and students can test drive this shared decision making tool here.
