The University of Connecticut is an approved Exchange Visitor program sponsor, meaning we provide visa sponsorship for international visiting scholars invited to the University to conduct temporary research, teaching, consulting or other scholarly activities.
ISSS will present an overview of the DS-2019 request process necessary to sponsor an Exchange Visitor's visa, and hosting responsibilities for academic units who bring visiting scholars to your department.
We will also present information on new online processes coming soon for the department admins who process initial DS-2019 requests, DS-2019 extension requests, and DS-2019 program amendments.
