Topic: Using Health Insurance: Optimizing Health and Financial Benefits
Description: Unnecessarily complex health insurance is an unrecognized source of health disparities that can hurt the most vulnerable people's health and pocket books. This seminar will highlight what the industry is doing to simplify its offerings, optimize consumer use of benefits and reduce financial risks. It will also cover the government's role in protecting consumers when conflicts arise and explore reform ideas to make health insurance more user-friendly, more predictable and more affordable.
