  • City of Hartford/CIRCA Green Design Competition

Do you know any students passionate about making Connecticut cleaner, greener and healthier

The City of Hartford’s 2018 DREAM GREEN: Design Solutions for Hartford Competition is looking for applications! The competition is looking for applications for "pop-up" projects that beautifully transform underused spaces. Winning applications will submit pop-up designs that address climate change and neighborhood flooding, while temporarily shaping the fabric Hartford through trees, plants, green tech, art, and a dash of ingenuity.

One lucky individual or team (yes, we accept group applications!) will win $1,000 and have their idea built within the City's project budget of $2500!
