As part of its efforts to promote a culture of compliance and foster collaboration among key compliance areas across UConn and UConn Health, the Office of University Compliance is excited to announce the creation of the University Compliance Network. Among other functions, members of the University Compliance Network:
Serve as subject-matter experts in key compliance areas.
Support and promote training, education, and awareness efforts.
Disseminate compliance information to faculty, staff, and students in their areas.
Clarify compliance roles and responsibilities and establish effective lines of communication among those who are required to comply.
Ensure the ongoing assessment and tracking of compliance risks and develop core compliance processes to support ongoing mitigation efforts.
Collaborate with the Office of University Compliance on compliance monitoring efforts and develop appropriate plans to assess and address compliance risks.
