Safety, Health, and Wellness

  • Is Your Laboratory Moving?

    Dear Colleagues,

Is the laboratory you oversee scheduled to be vacated now that the spring term has ended? Does the laboratory contain compressed gases, biohazardous materials, hazardous chemicals, lasers, radioactive materials, regulated wastes, X-ray producing equipment or other known hazards? If so, the principal investigator or lab supervisor must complete a Laboratory Clearance Form. This will help ensure all official policies and procedures are followed, maximizing safety and minimizing the timeframe for the next individual to occupy the lab.

If you have any questions or concerns as you review the form, please don't hesitate to contact EHS. We’re happy to help you with the transition.
