The 2018 - 2019 Health Care Open Enrollment for State of Connecticut employees will begin on Monday, May 7, 2018 and end on Friday, June 1, 2018.
During open enrollment, you may change medical and/or dental plans, add or drop coverage for your eligible family members, or enroll if you previously waived coverage. You may also enroll in the Health Enhancement Program (HEP), if you have not done so already. Any changes you make during open enrollment will be effective July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.
Information on plan offerings and changes for the upcoming year will be posted on the Office of the State Comptroller's Open Enrollment 2018 website.
Employees who want to make changes to their benefit plans during this open enrollment period may contact Human Resources at benefits@uconn.edu to request a personalized enrollment form. Beginning on 5/7/18 through5/18/18, employees may directly access and make changes to their benefit plans in Core-Ct at ess.uconn.edu. If you are adding a dependent to your insurance, please provide a copy of your proof documentation such as a marriage license or long form birth certificate.
The Storrs Campus Open Enrollment Fair will be held on Monday May 14, 9am-2pm, in the Student Union Ballroom (Room 330). You are invited to stop by as representatives will be available to answer questions and assist you with your open enrollment decisions. Representatives from Anthem State Bluecare, Caremark (Prescription Drugs), Care Management Solutions (HEP), Cigna (Dental), Office of the State Comptroller, Prudential, United Healthcare/Oxford and Vitals SmartShopper are expected to attend.
