Graduate Fellowships Information Session: A focus on external awards for STEM Graduate Students

The Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships (ONS&F) along with the Institute for Collaboration on Health, Intervention and Policy (InCHIP) will be hosting an information session for graduate students interested in applying for external awards. This session will focus on the various support services available for current graduate students seeking funding, tips for locating funding opportunities and provide a general overview of the application process. Fulbright U.S. Student Program Information Session

The U.S. Student Fulbright Program will open in March 2018. Graduating seniors and graduate students who are U.S. citizens at the time of application may apply for Fulbright grants for research and post-bachelor’s study abroad during the 2019-20 academic year. LuAnn Saunders-Kanabay, UConn’s Fulbright Program Advisor, will hold an information session on the student Fulbright grant program to: explain the purpose of the Fulbright program; review eligibility requirements; describe the various grants available to students; discuss how to select a country and develop a project statement; and review the application process.
