  • 3/31 Environmental Metanoia Film: Saving My Tomorrow

This film is the second in the Environmental Metanoia Film Series, which will consist of six recent documentaries about pressing environmental issues. The selections showcase a variety of voices  and in addition to explaining problems, offer solutions that can and are being pursued around the world. Screenings are free and open to the public.

This installment in the Saving My Tomorrow series showcases the ways in which kids are doing their part to clean up the environment. Focusing on environmental concerns like plastic pollution and deforestation, the special includes stories about the Amazon rainforest and the albatross, and follows young activists around the world as they clean up the beaches, plant trees, and demonstrate at City Hall. This film is the fourth in this series of family specials on the environment. Focusing on energy use and sustainability, the show features stories about endangered animals alongside scenes with kids who are working to protect the nature around them -- from the mountaintops to the coral reefs.

The film will be shown in the Student Union Theater, 2110 Hillside Road, Storrs, CT, 06268.

This event is from 4-6 pm on Saturday March 31st. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the film.
