Faculty and staff should note that the 25th Annual Scholars Day Ceremony at the University of Connecticut will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, 5:30 p.m. at the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts. This ceremony showcases the academic accomplishments of distinguished undergraduate students, honoring Babbidge Scholars who earned a semester grade point average of 4.0 for both the spring and fall semesters of the 2017 calendar year and New England Scholars who earned a semester grade point average of at least 3.7 for the spring and fall semesters of the 2017 calendar year.
In order to fully participate in the ceremony, students may request to depart class early or seek permission to arrive late for class. Instructors are encouraged to make reasonable accommodations in response to student requests to complete work missed as a result of attendance at the Scholars Day Ceremony. Please support these high achieving students.
The entire UConn community is invited to join Interim Provost Teitelbaum in congratulating our students on their outstanding academic achievements. An announcement, including a formal invitation to the ceremony has also been posted via the Daily Digest.
